StandWithUs has launched a new partnership with ELAL, the national carrier of Israel, and Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The unique program trains top ELAL flight crew in preparation for public diplomacy missions in North America.StandWithUs staff led a 2 day training program at the ELAL headquarters in Ben-Gurion International Airport, for over 60 selected members of the company's aircrew, including 14 senior captains. CEO of ELAL, Major General Eliezer Shkedy (former Commander in Chief of the Israeli Air Force) recognized the major need to educate his staff on public speaking on Israel and message crafting. In order to improve their skills for the unique project which he initiated, Major General Shkedy understood that StandWithUs would play a crucial role. The project, named "Blue and White ELAL Ambassadors", will select aircrew members of ELAL to take part in speaking engagements in communities, beginning in New York, Toronto and Los Angeles. All participants received the flagship StandWithUs educational resource "Israel 101", the "Israel Pocket Facts" booklet and a flash drive with other educational resources. This is a breakthrough partnership between the private sector and StandWithUs in Israel where for the first time, a private company has taken on the responsibility to help fight lies and misinformation that are being spread about Israel.
