StandWithUs UK, together with other communal organisations, is working to overturn the Co-Op's discriminatory and misguided anti-Israel policy. In addition to its boycott of Israeli goods from the West Bank, the Co-Op is now boycotting all goods of the Israeli companies, Agrexco, Arava Export Growers, Adafresh and Mehadrin. This decision marks a further escalation in the Co-Op's discriminatory singling out of Israel and its pandering to extremist groups with a vested interest in delegitimising Israel. This policy, if implemented, will seriously damage the many Palestinian farmers and others, who play a role in growing most of the exports from the region in question, and could potentially destroy the economy in the West Bank. This is particularly true regarding Agrexco which is the company the Palestinians use to export their produce and flowers. British consumers must not be used as pawns in a political game which benefits extremist groups. StandWithUs UK calls upon fair minded individuals and groups not to Cooperate with the Co-Op's policy. Send or email the slip to the members of the Co-Op Group Board representing your region, adding your name and email address.
